This tour of Kutná Hora will not only take you to Cathedral of St Barbara, one of the most famous and beautiful Gothic churches and in central Europe but also to many beautiful gothic, renaissance and baroque townhouses and visit a unique stone fountain from the 15th century.
You will also visit Kutná Hora’s Sedlec Ossuary, or “bone church”, which is one of the most well-known burial grounds in the world, decorated with more than 40 000 human bones. According to rumour, a handful of earth was brought here from the grave of God in Jerusalem. Graveyard land became part of the Holy Land, so bodies not only from Bohemia but also from neighbouring countries were buried here.
