See the most famous piece of Antoni Gaudí, who was a visionary architect during Barcelona’s modernista period early 1900 and has no less than 7 extraordinary buildings on Lists of World Heritage sites by UNESCO including the one and only Sagrada Família.
Your guide will explain to you every detail of this fascinating building, so you can appreciate this extraordinary building in full and discover the richness of detail and its significance on your own.
Gaudí wished the temple, which is still being built, to be financed by the people, not by taxes or funding, and that’s just what your entrance fees are for, to finance the completion of the building started in 1882.
The tour will start on Passeig de Gràcia, and then you will go straight to Sagrada Família, so you can admire this amazing conception of architecture and please don`t forget that you must dress appropriately (no see-through clothes, covered shoulders and knees, no exposed backs or bellies and nothing provocative in artistic, religious, promotional or any other purposes).
The tour will start from plaça Catalunya, in front of Deutsche Bank and Hotel Olivia Plaza. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure time and look for the orange umbrellas!
You can choose to do the morning tour at 10:00 or afternoon at 15:00.
