Description

Join us on this tour and visit the sanctuary, a place where the apparitions of Our Lady took place! All that with commentary by our friendly and highly trained guide!

Visit the Monastery of Batalha, monument that was built as a thanksgiving for the victory over the Battle of Aljubarrota, and would serve as the burial church of the 15th-Century Aviz dynasty of Portuguese royalty. It is one of the best and original examples of Late Gothic architecture in Portugal, intermingled with the Manueline style.

After we will have lunch in the fishing village of Nazaré, where you can feel the magical atmosphere of this picturesque village, then head to the medieval village of Óbidos, remains a well-preserved example of medieval architecture; its streets, squares, walls and its castle are a popular tourist destination, full of life. There you can enjoy the famous cherry liquor “Ginjinha”, served in a chocolate cup.
